Worldpay and Circle announced a partnership in which the companies will offer merchants in the U.S. the ability to settle transactions using USDC stablecoin. The move will allow merchants “to experiment with cryptocurrency in a less volatile and lower-touch environment.” FIS, Worldpay’s parent company, “processes over $2 trillion in transactions annually across more than 100 countries.” (FIS Company Announcement)
