Lightning Labs Introducing Stablecoins to Bitcoin’s Blockchain

Lightning Labs announced a new protocol project called “Taro” to enable interoperability with Lightning Network, stablecoins and other crypto tokens. According to Elizabeth Stark, CEO and co-founder of Lightning Labs, issuing and using stablecoins on Lightning is “really significant because the potential here is for all the world’s currencies to route through Bitcoin over the Lightning Network.” (Forbes)
